Pathambarewaththa Plantation is a heritage of a courage farmer who is the founder of this farming land in 1948's in an un-populated hill top. At the early stage main crop was coconut but later in 1970's this business-minded farmer has started cultivation of Export Agricultural crops , specially pepper and coffee , which was a turning point of this cultivation in to the business.
The land was ideal for pepper cultivation and located in Delwita , Rambadagalla, in Kurunegala District , Sri Lanka.
Currently, the land of 250 acres with a few associated lands are being totally managed by the grandson of the founder who is Mr.S.D.S.Chandana Sumanarathne. He is being fully engaged with the management of land and crops after completion of his higher education from the University of Peradeniya , Sri Lanka. It is prominent that he practices innovative and experimental ideas throughout the agricultural practices as a degree holder in Science.



An agriculture is a long-term business.short term benefits can not be obtained.But if you plant properly for a specific market, you can have long-lasting benefits.you have the opportunity to do so.
